About Rider Diaries:-
How would you like to have the most thrilling and safe ride away from the city exploring the culture of a new place and meeting new people from different walks of life?
We bring you the Rider Diaries Season 2 which is a one of a kind series of one day motorcycle rides which will be conducted on first Sunday of every month. In these rides you can expect to explore authentic eateries, lesser known places, resorts, camps, homestays, dams and reservoirs, hills etc.
Day 1
(Bangalore – Achalu Betta – Shimsha River (Jain Excavation Site)- Bangalore)
6.00 AM:- Meet up, Briefing about rules & signals for the ride
6.30 AM Flag off / Departure
Breakfast enroute
Continue ride to Achalu Betta
Reach Achalu Betta do some off road adventure
Continue ride to Shimsha River to the Jain Excavation Site.
Explore the jain heritage area.
Lunch Break (self-sponsored)
Return ride to Bangalore
Tea break (if required)
6 PM: Reach Bangalore

Now that you have decided to join the trip, congrats on the excellent choice! Monks on Wheels assures you a real experience in nature, distinctive value and finest quality in service.
Per Person Rs. 360/- (inclusive of GST)
1) Participants would have to make their own transport arrangements (bike/car).
2) Monks on Wheels organizers will have radio communication device as a part of the safety measure.
3) Total ride distance will be approximately 180 km
4) A Whatsapp group will be created 2-3 days before the event where all the necessary information like things to carry, assembly point, time etc will be provided.
5) We need a minimum of 6 people to conduct the event or the event might be cancelled with full refund.
6) In an extremely rare scenario, due to unforeseen incidents like natural calamities, road blocks etc. or restrictions by the government or forest department, the itinerary might be changed/modified depending on the situation.

7) If you don’t have a motorcycle, rent a ride at Royal Brothers at a special discount price.
8) For safety gear and touring accessories, rent or buy at Gear N Ride at a special discount price.

1. Only bikes of 150cc and above are allowed.
2. Helmet is Mandatory for both Rider and pillion
3. Riding gear is highly recommended.
4. Drink and Drive strictly prohibited
5. A leader and Sweeper will be assigned. All the riders have to stay between the two.
6. All riders need to get and have valid driver’s licenses and vehicle documents.
7. Make sure your bike is serviced and in good condition.
Partial payment is an advance paid to block your slot for a particular event. Remaining amount of the event to be paid online/cash on the day of the trip.
Monks on Wheels will be arranging an Non – AC tempo traveller or a mini bus depending on the group size.
The transport will be arranged from Bengaluru.
Our trips would get confirmed 2-3 days before the event date and you’ll be added to the trip’s WhatsApp group where you’ll receive further necessary information.
Once your registration is confirmed, Monks on Wheels shall provide the exact location of our venue 2-3 days before the event.
Monks on Wheels do not restrict on the age as each individual has their own capabilities. But we would strongly recommend you to contact us so that our travel expert can give you a better idea of the trip.
These are group events open to all categories of people.
Yes, It is completely safe for women travelers. Monks on Wheels events are done keeping certain standards and safety measures. We will always send a minimum of two trip organizers for all our events. For better understanding on how we manage trips, read these reviews by our solo women travelers.
