Shivanasamudra is awesome! Here’s why?
Shivanasamudra meaning Shiva’s Sea is an island on Cauvery river where the two beautiful waterfalls flows around before plunging down giving a great sight to watch.
The eastern branch of the waterfall is known as Barachukki while the western branch is known as Gaganachukki. Barachukki and Gaganachukki waterfalls are together known as the Shivanasamudra Falls.

Warning: You are about to read the most exciting section, a signature hand-crafted, Monks on Wheels experience. This is for people who want to join for some true adventure and unique fun.

Short Itinerary

Day 1 (Monday)

(Bangalore – Gaganachukki – Barachukki – Bangalore)

6.00 AM:- Meet up, Briefing about rules & signals for the ride
6.30 AM Flag off / Departure
Breakfast en route
Reach Gaganachukki
Continue ride to Barachukki
Site seeing, group intro, photo shoot.
Lunch Break (self-sponsored)
Return ride to Bangalore
Tea break (if required)
7 PM: Reach Bangalore

Pricing Details

Per Person Rs. 300/- 

Advisory

1) Participants would have to make their own transport arrangements (bike/car).
2) Monks on Wheels organizers will have radio communication device as a part of the safety measure.
3) Total ride distance will be approximately 300 km
4) A Whatsapp group will be created 2-3 days before the event where all the necessary information like things to carry, assembly point, time etc will be provided.
5) We need a minimum of 6 people to conduct the event or the event might be cancelled with full refund.
6) In an extremely rare scenario, due to unforeseen incidents like natural calamities, road blocks etc. or restrictions by the government or forest department, the itinerary might be changed/modified depending on the situation.
In case you are looking for bike rentals and riding gears-
7) If you don’t have a motorcycle, rent a ride at Royal Brothers at a special discount price.
8) For safety gear and touring accessories, rent or buy at Gear N Ride at a special discount price.

COVID Safety & Guidelines

Double dose vaccination of COVID-19 or RTPCR Test report of COVID-19 less than 72 hours is mandatory for all participants.

Ride Rule & Instructions

1. Only bikes of 150cc and above are allowed.
2. Helmet is Mandatory for both Rider and pillion
3. Riding gear is highly recommended.
4. Drink and Drive strictly prohibited
5. A leader and Sweeper will be assigned. All the riders have to stay between the two.
6. All riders need to get and have valid driver’s licenses and vehicle documents.
7. Make sure your bike is serviced and in good condition.
