Kasol is a small charming hamlet located at an elevation of 1,580M above sea level in the district of Kullu. It is situated on the banks of the Parvati River in the Parvati Valley. Kasol is also referred to as Mini Israel mainly due to the in-habitation of the Israelis in the region and around.
Located at an altitude of approximately 2960M above sea level, the Kheer Ganga is a 12Km trek point. One could always pull themselves to this place and always fall in love. The trek to the Kheer Ganga hills is a 9Km trail, which is also one of the easiest and the daring adventure to do in Kasol. Covered in snow for the most part of the year, the trail lies at the end of the Parvati Valley. The top point of the trek on Kheer Ganga provides the travellers with one of the best experience with the mesmerising weather, the shimmering sky, the clouds and the surrounding would definitely fill ones heart.
Located at an elevation of 2,400M above sea level, Tosh is a traditional village in the Parvati Valley. The place gives amazing views of the Himalayan regions and the hills around. It is popular for the plantation of cannabis. The traditions and the culture here are worth experiencing. Tosh has a total population of only 700 people.

Manikaran Sahib is a Gurudwara that is located in Manikaran, about 6Km away from Kasol. The word Manikaran, when split into 2 words, given the meaning: Mani – Gem, Karn – Ear, giving the meaning as he gem worn in the ear. It is believed that Goddess Parvati wore the gem, which fell into the river, giving it the name after her, Parvati. It is believed by many that Lord Shiva and d Goddess Parvati used to stay at the place where the temple is located.

The Chalal Trek is an amazing way to experience the region of Kasol with an easy travel. It is a very small easy 30 minute trek available for those who want to experience a small trekking event. The trail is near the dense forest of pine and deodar alongside the streaming river.
